Science and Art exhibition was organized at Kalaimagal Vidhya Mandir Matriculation Hr. Sec. School as “Young Springs 2018”, Mr. C. N. EKAMBARAM, Deputy General Manager, Intech Systems, Chennai (Pvt) Ltd, Ch- 32, inaugurated the function. A total of round about 350 exhibits from LKG to XI std from the school displayed innovative talents with the key objective of bringing out the hidden talents of our students with a focus on creativity more about science.

To our surprise number of working models apart from science even in social science and languages students had introduced innovative techniques in their projects.

The Students were absolutely enthusiastic about their work for each exhibit was rendered precisely and elaborately without the slightest trace of sloppiness.

It was surprising to see the various pieces of handwork of such high standard from the distinct departments. Many interested parents and friends appreciated the work of the Children. Prizes for the deservers were bestowed instantly by the judges.

Ultimately “Learning by doing” method was exhibited by the children.


The whole surrounding of madipakkam is celebrating the Navarathri Festival. We are in the midst of a festival that is a beautiful blend of art and culture. Kalaimagal vidhya mandir is on its wings crowning the days.

Bomma Golu, The display of dolls depicting religious epics, mythological and social themes were arranged in nine steps. The Golu and recited slogans and bhajans.

The students also showed how Navarathri is celebrated in different ways. The significance and the sequential events on all nine days were beautifully demonstrated by the students.

Celebrating these festivals in schools will help the new generation to come to follow our culture and customs.
